And let's not forget that nice Sephardic Jewish girl from the Bronx, Edith Gormezano, better known as Eydie Gormé. Her family were polyglots (their languages included Ladino) and she worked for a time as a translator. She did a lot of songs in Spanish: a big favourite for me is "Sabor a Mí".

By the way, one of her cousins was none other than Neil Sedaka;* Eydie's mother was the sister of Neil's father.

* aka Hebrew tzedakah.
