It’s been a big year for babies, starting with Evian’s bubbly, roller-skating toddlers and E*Trade’s wise-beyond-their-years financial mavens. The French documentary Babies has grossed more than $5 million in the three weeks since its U.S. premiere.
Now comes Huggies’ wee hipster, who boasts, “My diaper is full—full of chic.”
According to AdFreak, the word “poop” was too risqué for some TV networks; ABC, ABC Family, and Sprout refused the air the spot until the tagline—“The coolest you’ll look pooping your pants”—was changed. AdFreak’s comment:
Guys, it's a diaper. Not much else goes on in those things. Besides, if you allow phrases like "I've got chic in my pants" and balk at "poop," you've got it for brains.
P.S. In the AdFreak post title, “jort” = “jeans short.” Remember jeggings?
