When your name is Thom Browne, it might not be the best idea to use your initials as a logo.
And yet, there they were, TB logos on the elbow patches of jackets and the knee patches of britches in the fall collection Mr. Browne showed in the wood-paneled salons of the Park Avenue Armory. Were the models coming from tubercular quarantine? I point this out with love and commiseration, Mr. Browne. My initials spell “EW.”
