I'm fairly sure the standard British English pronunciation of cicada is the KAH one. I still remember my first year in Tokyo when they were so loud they drowned out the traffic; "screaming" wouldn't have been inappropriate.

The stock photography song made me a little sad. Especially when you could listen to Jonathan Coulton's "Flickr" instead.
