Putting a dhoti on Santa would not make him Diwali Ali, either.

Maybe it's because I distinctly heard the store was called "En-JEW." With apologies - and birthday wishes - to Woody Allen.

Putting blue and white ornaments and Stars of David on a tree doesn't make it a Hannukah bush, either.

Apparently Hanukkah Harry was a recurring character on "Saturday Night Live," so you have to blame them.

Andrea: You are correct. I'd somehow missed those SNL episodes from 1989 through the early 1990s (and beyond?). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanukkah_Harry
But SNL's HH (played by Jon Lovitz) did not resemble Enjou's HH:
